Here’s a look at Gandalf’s back, where he has a grey cloak, and more of that incredible hair texture, as well as a pointy wizard hat. com Heads up, today is the final day that you’ll be able to score 2x LEGO Insider Points on all purchases on LEGO. That way you don't have all of the hobbits together, and you've kept to the groupings that are developed within the story, which I think is pretty typical to the Brickheadz strategy. The Balrog in particular was an absolute blast to build, and the completed model is terrifyingly large, and opens up possibilities of larger Brickheadz, which I hope to see soon. Here’s hoping these do really well and send a signal to LEGO that we do really want more LEGO Lord of the Rings.

Without further ado, let’s take a quick look at all three LEGO Lord of the Rings Brickheadz in this combined review!

I must confess I was always more of a CubeDude fan, and this was my first time getting into the BrickHeadz scale.

But for many, it’s the film series from New Line Cinema which has provided the route into this amazing world. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. These Lord of the Rings gifts and toys, for kids aged 10+ and adults , are inspired by the mythical locations and iconic characters of Frodo™, Gandalf the Grey™ and Aragorn™.

This Balrog Brickheadz is HUGE, thanks to its wingspan and height, and really nails the “flame and shadow” look. The eyes are not possible due to the requirement to use Brickheadz eyes, so they really should’ve included a mouth tile. Recreate iconic details of the wizard Gandalf the Grey and the flaming beast Balrog and display the buildable figures with pride. Next up, we have perhaps one of the ugliest Brickheadz ever, which kinda does fit the bill seeing as Gollum isn’t going to be winning Mr.

With a small dedicated team of LEGO fans serving your needs, we're sure you wont find a better or more friendly service anywhere else online. Here’s a comparison with the Arwen minifigure, who has a different outfit, as we’ve never gotten the green coronation dress variant in minifigure form! I personally think this was a great choice as it results in an interesting-looking BrickHeadz build.

I divided them into three different sets: the idea is to make that iconic silhouette when they are traveling and headed to Mordor. I noticed someone mentioned an issue with the 4 hobbits being almost the same, but isn’t that what Lego would appreciate, no real need for specific parts, just in different colours / prints. But for example, I believe you can get more value here because you get more different colors and in never-before-released parts. Aragorn is portrayed in his king outfit with a crown, and Arwen is wearing a brick-built green wedding dress and tiara. It’s because it’s different as well as being the first time the character has appeared in LEGO form.
