Then I enjoyed reading about all the difference passengers getting ready for their flight journey and why they were flying that day. Consenting to these technologies will allow us to process data such as browsing behaviour or unique IDs on this site. But their suspicions grow, and soon it's clear that someone on the flight is planning something devastating.

Accidental Heroes is a heart-stopping thriller about ordinary men and women who embark on a journey they will never forget. What follows is a difficult waiting game as the flight heads toward what could either be nothing, or San Francisco's own 9/11.

However, the drama of the lives of the supporting characters really brings entertainment to this book.

But one fateful day their lives intersect in ways that would define how they view themselves for the rest of their lives. As the flight takes off each of the passengers is looking forward to reaching San Francisco, whether it's for a family reunion, a wedding, or a new way of life. About the Author: Danielle Steel has been hailed as one of the world's most popular authors, with over 650 million copies of her novels sold. Accidental Heroes is a pulse pounding thriller that is very much set in the here and now of our current climate. The plot is extremely obvious, and the tying up of lose ends is roughly twice as long as it needs to be for a story of this length. Now, it may be that Steel's fans from her other books might enjoy this as an interesting diversion from her normal output, I couldn't say. While it wasn't the best airline thriller I've read, it was a good one and I didn't want to out it down. Accidental Heroes is a heart-stopping thriller about ordinary people who embark on a journey they will never forget.

When the security checkpoint worker’s first concerns are dismissed, she decides this message cannot be ignored and makes contact with Homeland Security. Passengers, crew, and experts on the ground become heroes out of necessity to try to avert tragedy at the 11th hour.Product Description Accidental Heroes is a heart-stopping thriller about ordinary people who embark on a journey they will never forget. She is also the author of His Bright Light, the story of her son Nick Traina's life and death; A Gift of Hope, a memoir of her work with the homeless; and the children's books Pretty Minnie in Paris and Pretty Minnie in Hollywood. Two passengers on board the flight find love amongst the chaos and it is typical Steel feel-good fiction. Unfortunately, they find that it is harder to convince people they are not superheroes than to try and be superheroes. The whole thing starts when Berniece, at baggage check, finds a postcard with a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge on one side, a very cryptic message that could be assumed as a threat, in the other.

As the plane bears down on its destination of San Francisco, the futures of these strangers will be changed forever by a handful of accidental heroes . I definitely recommend this book if you would need a light read that you can invest yourself into for a couple of hours. The fates of these three, and many others, converge in Danielle Steel’s gripping new novel—a heart-stopping thriller that engages ordinary men and women in the fight of their lives during a flight from New York to San Francisco. Accidental Heroes proved to be a surprising and different read from Danielle Steel this time around. I was fascinated reading about all the people involved and what goes on behind the scenes at an airport when security deems there to be a credible threat. She had a very interesting romantic notion about people becoming accidental heroes and tried making a thriller out of it.
